Broker and Managing Director
Yasmina Rauber is a Swiss national. She undertook several internships at various financial companies while taking the SEC Series 7 in New York. She subsequently studied marketing at NYU and organized several international trade shows in Geneva and Tel Aviv.
In 1995, she joined Alcotra SA as a commercial coordinator, and was later promoted to trader in charge of all Asian purchasing with a focus on India and China. Yasmina was subsequently promoted to VP Chartering and relocated to Rio and later Brussels. In 2007 she returned to Switzerland and managed Alcotra’s Swiss office and operations until August 2016. In September 2016 Yasmina, in partnership with Alcogroup, launched Swiss Maritime Services AG in Zug.
Ms Rauber is an active member of several professional associations. Since January 2014, she has served as the President of WISTA Switzerland (Women in Shipping and Trading Association). Yasmina has been also a member of the Executive Board of the Swiss Trading and Shipping Association (STSA) from November 2013 till December 2016 and is still an active member. She is as well a member of the ZCA (Zug Commodity Association), the Propeller Club in Geneva, and the Shipping Network in Zurich.
Danai Eftaxiadis, is a Greek and Swiss national. In 2011 she graduated from Business College of Athens, with a Bachelor degree in Science in Shipping, Transport and Logistics. During her studies she also was employed by Continental Chartering SA brokers as a customer service officer.
In 2012 she joined SSY brokers in Switzerland as a shipbroker in dry cargo, where she also received additional training in operations, post-fixing and chartering department at their headquarters in London.
In 2016 she joined Swiss Maritime Services as a tanker operations coordinator.
Danai is also a member of WISTA Switzerland (Women in Shipping and Trading Association) and the Shipping Network in Zurich.
